Develpment in French Bulldogs
The following pages are slide shows illustrating the development
of several different French Bulldogs, from puppy hood to maturity.
The dogs are from several different lines and kennels. Some are champions,
others pets. It's interesting to try to look at the early pictures
and see what, if anything, we can tell from them that lets us determine
just how the adult dog will develop.
The final series are of familial similarities in a line of French
Bulldogs, and show a series of immediately related bitches all at
the same age. You will be able to see that in some cases it would
almost be possible to trace an overlay and come out with the final
pattern of the third generation offspring.
